General Golf Questions
Is GolfBack Golf Club open to the public?
Yes. Both courses, the practice facilities and The Grille are open to everyone. No membership is required to book a tee time.
Where do I check in?
Check in at the Golf Shop in the clubhouse at 100 Fairway Drive, Lakeside, FL. The Championship, The Short Course and the practice area all start from the clubhouse. See the Property Map for the full layout.
How many holes do you have?
GolfBack Golf Club offers 27 holes on two courses:
- The Championship: 18 holes, par 72, 6,912 yards from the Black tees.
- The Short Course: 9 holes, par 27, 1,240 yards. Walking only and lit for night golf.
Do you allow 5-somes?
No. To keep pace of play moving, groups are limited to four players. View all course policies.
What is the dress code?
Collared shirts are preferred, and soft spikes only. Denim cutoffs and swimwear are not permitted on the course. View all course policies.
Do you offer Stay & Play packages?
Yes. Packages with our partner Lakeside Inn start at $149 per person, per night and include golf on The Championship. Learn more.
Practice, Range & Rentals
How much are range balls?
The Range has 24 covered, lit hitting bays with ball-tracking, open 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily:
- Small bucket: $12
- Large bucket: $18
- Bay rental: $30 per hour (up to 4 players)
Do you rent golf clubs?
Yes. Rental sets are $45 per round on The Championship and $15 on The Short Course. Push carts are free. Rentals are first come, first served.
The Short Course
Is The Short Course walking only?
Yes. The Short Course is a walking-only, 9-hole par-3 layout. Push carts are free at the Golf Shop.
Can I play golf at night?
Yes. The Short Course is lit from sunset to 10:00 PM nightly. Rounds are $25, and glow balls are $5. Learn about night golf.
Do you offer FootGolf?
Yes. The Short Course has a certified 9-hole FootGolf layout, open before 4:00 PM. Rounds are $12 for adults and $8 for kids under 12; ball rental is $5. FootGolf details.

What lessons are available and how do I book?
- 30-minute private lesson: $55
- 60-minute private lesson: $90
- 3-lesson package: $240
- Free group clinic every Saturday at 9:00 AM

Who teaches at the academy?
Lessons are taught by Head Golf Professional Jordan Lee (PGA) and instructor Casey Brooks. Both work with players of every age and ability.
Dining, Gift Cards & Membership
Is there a restaurant?
Yes. The Grille is our clubhouse restaurant, serving American grill favorites from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, with patio seating. It hosts private events for up to 80 guests. See The Grille.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes. Buy a gift card online in any amount from $25 to $500. Gift cards work for golf, the Golf Shop and The Grille.
Do you offer a membership?
Yes. The Players Club is $499 per year and includes 20% off green fees, range discounts and member events. Learn more.
